The Nursing Department at Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran organized a seminar titled “The Future of Nursing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” to coincide with International Nursing Day. The seminar took place on Sunday and Monday, 24^th-25^th Shawwal 1444 AH / May 14^th-15^th, 2023, with 16 accredited hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties to the attendees.

The seminar hosted several academicians, nursing leaders, professionals, and students from various hospitals and colleges in the Eastern Region, as well as specialized institutions. Additionally, there were accompanying workshops associated with the seminar.

The “Maan for Workplace Development” committee, in collaboration with the Vice Deanship of Academic Affairs – Student Affairs Department, organized a Ramadan Iftar feast for all its members including faculty, administrators, military personnel, male and female students. The Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department at the Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran activated the International Clinical Laboratory Day, with the participation of male and female students from the Clinical laboratory Sciences department. Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran hosted orphans from the Banaa Association for Orphans Care in the Eastern Region (girls) on Sunday, 27^th Sha’ban 1444 H, /March 19^th, 2023, at the college’s sports hall.

The program included various activities such as religious and educational guidance, handicraft workshops, entertainment competitions, games, and a health education in which college students participated.

At the conclusion of the event, the college presented gifts to the children and staff of the Banaa Association for Orphans Care.

Under the patronage of the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Yasser Abdulaziz Al-Naam, the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department at the college organized a campaign for the International Anti-Obesity Day. The event took place on Thursday, 24^th Sha’ban 1444 AH / March 16^th, 2023 AD, in the college auditorium. The campaign involved the participation of a specialized team from Eastern Province Health Organization.

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Director General of the General Directorate of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Amri, Prince Sultan Military College of Health Sciences in Dhahran organized the Digital Transformation Innovation Hackathon in Healthcare and Medical Education.
